Thank you for returning all of the paper work! We had a great first week and I am looking forward to another one.

In Language Arts, we will be adding to our reading strategies… The new strategies for this week will be Cross Checking for Accuracy. Another strategy…Find, read and use interesting words to Expand our Vocabulary. Just like it states, we are looking for words that are new to read and write so that we can expand our vocabulary.

We will be building our stamina for group work. By the end of the week we will be up to reading 7 minutes with a partner or to ourselves. Building our writing stamina will be up to 13 minutes.
