In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the green notebook. We will write our last set for Book 3 this week.
Spelling test for er, ir and ur words will be on Tuesday. Please review these words if your child did not get 100% on the pretest last week.
Spelling homework for the new list will begin Wednesday. Please make sure your child writes any word that was misspelled on the pretest 3 times each. Homework will also be done on Thursday.
Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.
Math…Topic 7 will continue. Review the pages that come home.
Continue to focus on the flashcards. We will begin assessing math fluency in the middle of February. Return the Flashcard Envelopes each day.

New Spelling words will be given on Thursday. Every misspelled word on the Spelling pre-test must be written 3 times each. Homework will be completed on Thursday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The final test will be on Thursday.
