In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the blue notebook.

A decodable reader is in the take-home folder today. Please listen to your child read this to you until it becomes fluent. When your child can read it smoothly, with expression and no errors or hesitation.

Spelling Test is on Tuesday. Please review the words if your child is taking the test. No written homework this week.

Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.

Math…Please review the flashcards in the envelope. Return the Flashcard Envelopes each day.

Assessing Unit 4 on Friday. Continue to look over any pages that come home.

-Book Orders are due on Friday, February 1.

-Please work on tying shoe laces. We will practice in school but it would really help if it was reinforced at home.

-Homework is to read any book your child is interested in every day and then add it to your reading log.
