Monday: NO SCHOOL – SNOW DAY
Tuesday: Day 9 > Computers
Wednesday: Day 10 > Art Class
Thursday: No Day > FUN RUN*
Friday: Day 1 > Keyboarding
In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the blue notebook. I will be listening to the students read the latest set of words this week. This is an easy 100% toward their reading grade as long as you practice them. Most students have been doing well, so please keep it up .
Spelling Pretest is Tuesday. If your child brings home the green notebook, he/she has written homework for each day of the week. The final test will be next week.
Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.
Math…Please review the flashcards in the envelope. Return the Flashcard Envelopes each day.
Continuing Unit 4 – review any pages that come home, concentrate on adding two digit numbers and greater than and less than.
-Please work on tying shoe laces. We will practice in school but it would really help if it was reinforced at home.
*Remember to keep the pledges coming for the Fun Run. Wear sneakers, sweats and an NS t shirt on Thursday. (Phys. Ed. Dress Code)
-Homework is to read any book your child is interested in every day and then add it to your reading log.
