In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the blue notebook. New words will be written this week.
Spelling pretest was today. Homework will be to write any misspelled words 3 times each, Monday-Thursday.
We are really working on reading comprehension. After your child reads a story or chapter, ask some questions about what was read.
The students will be responsible to complete the comprehension tests independently in the fourth marking period. They will be reading everything by themselves.
Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.
Math…Please review the flashcards in the envelope. Return the Flashcard Envelopes each day.
Unit 5 Geometry has come to an end. We will be assessing this week. The skills and concepts to review are shapes, solids, fractions and addition facts.
-Homework is to read any book your child is interested in every day and then add it to your reading log.
