Tuesday: Day 3 > Music
Wednesday: Day 4 > Computers
Thursday: Day 5 > Art
Friday: Day 6 > Library

In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the blue notebook. The last few words will be assessed this week. New words will be added on Tuesday.

Spelling Pre Test today. Written homework will be Monday - Thursday. Every day, any misspelled words must be written 3 times each. Final test will be next week.

Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.


Math…Please review the flashcards in the envelope. Return the Flashcard Envelopes each day.

Unit 5 Geometry will continue. We have been using shapes to make new shapes and learning about solid figures. This week we will be starting fractions. Review any pages that come home.


Friday will be our PBIS reward – Game Day. Your child may bring in a game. It can be a board game, card game, or electronic game, with your permission.

-Homework is to read any book your child is interested in every day and then add it to your reading log.

In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the blue notebook. I will be listening to the children read the words. Remember, if he/she knows all of the words it is 100%! A new set of words will be written in the notebook on Thursday.

A Decodable Reader is coming home today. Please listen to your child read this until it is fluent. Those students that have HOMEWORK written on the reader, need to have it signed and returned.

Spelling Pre Test is on Wednesday. Written homework will be Wednesday and Thursday, as well as next week. Final test will be next week.

Unit 5 Geometry > So many students have a good grasp of this already! I was so pleased with their Pre-Assessment  This will be a fun unit and it will not take us long to complete!


If you are bringing in Valentines, please be sure to have one for each classmate and send them in on Friday.
