Friday: Day 3 > Library

I would like to thank the parents who took the time to work on the Earth Day homework. I was so impressed with them! As I read each one, it made me extremely happy. You should all be proud of the terrific job they did.

Topic 13’s Reteaching page should be in the take-home folder today. Please review this with your child for the test tomorrow. We will begin Topic 14, Using Data to Answer Questions, on Thursday. Review the pages and look for corrections.

The Decodable Reader should be read Tuesday and/or Wednesday. Only those children that I have told need to have it signed and returned. Ask your son/daughter if he/she has to bring it back.

Review the spelling words every night for the final test on Friday if necessary.

Read “A Trip to Washington, D.C.” in the reading book Thursday. Also look over the pages prior to the story. The assessment on these skills and comprehension will be on Friday.

Don’t forget to read over the words in the blue notebook. This only has to be done once or twice during the week.

Continue to review all pages in the Friday Folder, sign and return any tests that are stamped. These tests are very important to review and return. Also, sign and date the back page of the Folder. >>I am not asking for all tests come back signed. Please only send back those tests that are stamped. If it is not stamped, it is yours to keep at home.

Please keep reading every day. Reading is a homework assignment that all children should be completing each night. Remember to write the books you read on the Reading Log (in the plastic sleeve). Sign and return the page when complete and another one will be sent home.

* Last week for schedule change.

I hope you have a fantastic week!
