Monday: Day 4 > Computer Class
Tuesday: Day 5 > Library Class
Wednesday: Day 6 > Art Class
Thursday: Day 7 > Physical Ed.
Friday: Day 8 > Music Class

The spelling test will be on Friday. Please review the words in the TAN notebook if your child brought it home today. This is something that should be fairly easy for your child to do well. It is apparent that some children are not practicing their words. Their progress will be noted on the report cards.

Keep reviewing the words in the BLUE notebook. The fifth set will be added on Tuesday. One more group of words before the oral assessment.

At this point we have all of the flash cards. Now is the time to really start committing them to memory. In the third trimester, fact fluency will be assessed, so as much practice as you can handle will really benefit your son/daughter.

Number patterns will be our focus in math. Topic 7 began today. Review pages that come home.

Our January Behavior Reward will be on Tuesday. Your child may bring in a game or electronics to play in class with your permission.

Ask your child about the 100th day activities on Wednesday.

Don’t Forget! Your child should be reading all stories to you. This is considered HOMEWORK every single day. After reading the book, add it to the Reading Log. When listening to your child read, remember to use those strategies that we have worked on since the start of the school year. (Check for Understanding, Use the Pictures, Flip the Sound, and so many more…use the reference page sent home if needed.)

Reading Logs due on Wednesday!

We will be going outside for recess unless it is raining or below 40 degrees so send your son/daughter with weather appropriate clothing.

Keep tying shoes.

**Review Friday Folder material, sign the green page and Return on Monday.**

I hope you have a happy week!
