In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the green notebook.
Spelling homework is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please make sure your child writes any word that was misspelled on the pretest 3 times each. Final test will be next week on Monday 3/12.
A Decodable Reader will be coming home on Thursday. Please have your child read this story to you several times to achieve fluency.
Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.
Math…Topic 8 –Tens and Ones >Review day on Thursday. We assessed the skills learned in this topic today. Topic 9 will begin later in the week.
Focus on the flashcards. Several more students reached our fluency goal! These students will use the Advanced fluency check. Keep practicing.
-Homework is to read any book your child is interested in every day and then add it to your reading log.
-Ask your child about the Bloomsburg University students that presented a lesson on a Dr. Seuss book on Friday. Since school
was cancelled on 3/2, the Bloomsburg students will be here on 3/9.
-PBIS reward will also be on Friday. If your child chose movie, he/she may bring in a blanket/beach towel and pillow.
