Wednesday: Day 9 > Computer Class
Thursday: Day 10 > Art Class
Friday: Day 1 > Keyboarding
In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the green notebook. We will be adding our new words on Thursday.
New Spelling words will be given on Wednesday. Every misspelled word on the Spelling pre-test must be written 3 times each. Homework will be completed on Wednesday, Thursday and Monday. The final test will be on Tuesday.
Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.
Math…Topic 6 was introduced today. This topic includes ‘Making 10 to subtract’, ‘related facts’, ‘fact families’. Please review the math pages.
Now is the time to really focus on the flashcards. In the third trimester, the students are assessed on math fluency. Math fluency is how quickly they can complete their addition facts. Return the Flashcard Envelopes each day.
-Homework is to read any book your child is interested in every day and then add it to your reading log.
-Reading Logs are due! Please send them in tomorrow. Pizza Hut certificates will be in the Friday Folders for those that hand in completed logs.
