Monday: Day 4> Computer Class
Tuesday: Day 5 > BOOK FAIR
Wednesday: Day 6 > Art Class .
Thursday: Day 7 > Phys. Ed
Friday: Day 8 > Music Class
Decodable readers are coming home to practice and add to your child’s reading log. There will be one on Tuesday and one Thursday this week. These need to be read to you and returned with your signature the next day. The students know all of these words so this story should be able to be read fluently.
The spelling test will be tomorrow. Please review the words in the green notebook.
Review all of the reading strategies sent home last week in the Friday Folder while reading with your child. They will be studied in class throughout the school year.
Topic 2 will be assessed this week. Re-teaching page will come home today to practice for the assessment tomorrow
Homework: 1. Read with your student or let them read to you. Don’t forget to add all the books you read to the reading log. 2. Decodable Reader – Tuesday and Thursday: read and send back. 3. Spelling words- review in Green Notebook for Tuesday 4. Review words in the Blue Notebook often. 5. Look over any math pages that are in the Take-Home Folder, correct errors and return.
Don’t forget that our room is chilly at times. Please send in a jacket, sweatshirt or sweater WITHOUT a hood.
We will be going outside for recess unless it is raining or below 40 degrees so send your son/daughter with weather appropriate clothing.
Please send in your party money in an envelope with your child’s name.
