Wednesday: Day 1 > Keyboarding
Thursday: Day 2 > Phys. Ed.
Friday: Day 3 > Music Class
In Language Arts… Keep reviewing the vocabulary words in the green notebook. Middle of the week, I will begin listening to the students read all Book 3 words.
Spelling homework is Monday and Tuesday. Please make sure your child writes any word that was misspelled on the pretest 3 times each. Final test will be on Wednesday.
A Decodable Reader will be coming home on Tuesday. Please have your child read this story to you several times to achieve fluency.
The new story will begin on Thursday along with the new spelling list. There will not be homework for these words until next week.
Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.
Math…Topic 7 will continue. Review the pages that come home. The assessment will be on Thursday. Look for the reteaching page on Wednesday.
We will begin Topic 8 next week.
Continue to focus on the flashcards. We will begin assessing math fluency next week. Return the Flashcard Envelopes each day.
-Homework is to read any book your child is interested in every day and then add it to your reading log.
