In Language Arts…
Keep reviewing the vocabulary words. Our second list for Book 2 will be written in the notebooks on Tuesday.
For spelling, the final test on today’s words will be on Friday. If your child brought home his/her Spelling notebook, he/she should be practicing the words. Look for the Spelling Notebook, it is tan with red spiral binding.
A decodable reader will come home on Thursday. Please listen to your child read it. He/she should be able to sound out all words in the books.
Remember, when listening to your child read, use the strategies that we have been working on in school. Refer to the page sent home.
Math…
Topic 3 is SO short! We will be assessing these skills on Thursday. The review page will come home on Wednesday.
-Homework is to read any book your child is interested in every day and then add it to your reading log.
-Follow the Dress-Up days for RED RIBBON Week.
