This Week's Happenings

4/20/15

Monday: Day 4 > Computer Class
Tuesday: No Day *
Wednesday: No Day *
Thursday: No Day *
Friday: Day 5 > Art Class

The Decodable Reader should be read Tuesday again. As last week, only those children that I have told need to have it signed and returned. Ask your son/daughter if he/she has to bring it back.

Review the spelling words every night for the final test on Thursday if necessary.

Read “Cinderella” in the reading book Wednesday. Also look over the pages prior to the story. The assessment on these skills and comprehension will be on Thursday.

Don’t forget to read over the words in the blue notebook. This only has to be done once or twice during the week.

Topic 13 began today. This topic focuses on telling time to the hour and half hour. Please review the pages that come home and practice telling time on both analog and digital clocks.

Continue to review all pages in the Friday Folder, sign and return any tests that are stamped. These tests are very important to review and return. Also, sign and date the back page of the Folder. >>I am not asking for all tests come back signed. Please only send back those tests that are stamped. If it is not stamped, it is yours to keep at home.

Please keep reading every day. Reading is a homework assignment that all children should be completing each night. Remember to write the books you read on the Reading Log (in the plastic sleeve). Sign and return the page when complete and another one will be sent home.

There are a few students who have not handed in even one Reading Log. Please complete them and send them back to school.

*We have a few schedule changes due to the upper(3-6) grades taking PSSA tests. Use this and the monthly calendar for the next three weeks to follow the rotation days.

I hope you have an unbelievable week!

Monday will be Day 1 > Music Class
