This Week's Happenings

1/26/16
Monday: Snow Day
Tuesday: Day 1 > Art Class
Wednesday: Day 2 > Phys. Ed.
Thursday: Day 3 > Music Class
Friday: Day 4 > Computers

The spelling test will be Thursday, so practice the words in the green notebook if necessary.

Please listen to your child read “Honey Bees” on Wednesday. (The written part of the test comes from the story.)

The phonics, comprehension and writing assessments will also be on Thursday. This comprehension section will be totally completed by the students. I will not be reading any questions or answer choices.

Remember to review the words in the blue notebook.

Topic 6 test will be tomorrow. The Review page will be in the take-home folder today.

Topic 7 will begin on Thursday. Topic 7 is Counting and Number Patterns to 120.

Homework is always to read every night with your child.

-Don’t forget that our room is chilly at times. Please send in a jacket, sweatshirt or sweater WITHOUT a hood. Many children complained last week, so if he/she wears a short sleeve shirt, a sweater/jacket would help them be more comfortable.

-We will be going outside for recess unless it is raining or below 40 degrees so send your son/daughter with weather appropriate clothing.

**Review Friday Folder material. Sign the back page and return on Monday.**

I hope you have a fantastic week!
